About Me
Short Bio
I have completed my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from Kurukshetra University in Chemical Engineering and Master of Technology (M. tech) from IIT Delhi in Atmospheric Sciences. My master's project involved working on the impact of aerosols vertical profile on its radiative forcing and climate over India.
I joined Ph.D. in Dec 2019, supervised jointly by Prof. Priyanka Kaushal and Prof. K. K. Pant. She has been endowed with the Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) as a lateral entry. My research area focuses on removing polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from tailings water using activated biochar.
Areas Of Interest
Wastewater, pyrolysis, Activated biochar, Adsorption
Experience
July'2014-August'2014
IOCL, Panipat Refinery
Study of polypropylene production and the critical parameters of the different grades of PP unit in the supervision of Mr. A.K. Tiwary, Deputy Production Manager, IOCL.
July'2013-August'2013
IOCL, Panipat Refinery
Observed the working of different sections of hydrocracker unit and analyze various factors affecting the process and product quality in the supervision of Mr. A.R. Mishra, CPNM, IOCL.
